The Child Trauma Research Centre acts as a nexus, fostering relationships and innovative research partnerships between and among academics, government, service providers, and community organizations. Through the coordination of resources across sectors, the Centre provides research capability to help address the social determinants and impacts of childhood trauma in Saskatchewan, the Prairies, and Canada. By researching, understanding, and sharing best practices, we support efforts to reduce the negative long-term health, social, emotional and economic effects of trauma experienced in childhood.
