Jaclyn Roach, B.Ed
Graduate Research Assistant
Jaclyn Roach (she/her) is an educator, researcher, and sessional instructor at the University of Regina. With over a decade of experience in Saskatchewan schools, Jaclyn is deeply committed to making teaching (and schools) better for everyone in the building. Her work sits at the intersection of trauma-informed pedagogy, teacher wellbeing, literacy education, and equity-centered practice. She is passionate about designing learning experiences that are human-centered, reflective, and grounded in both research and classroom realities - with a strong focus on critical thinking, inclusion, and practical application. With her work, Jaclyn hopes to contribute to school systems where educators are supported, students are seen as whole humans, and learning environments are built on care, belonging, and evidence-informed practice. She loves to connect with other educators, researchers, school leaders, and community partners who are working toward healthier, more just education systems.
