Dr. Lise Milne is an associate professor in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina and was awarded a 3-year Research Chair position through the Child Trauma Research Centre: Approaches Supporting Child and Youth Health and Well-Being. Lise’s research and teaching are informed by 15 years of child protection experience in Manitoba and Quebec. Her current research relates to resilience- and trauma-informed practices in child-serving organizations, perinatal prevention programming for trauma-impacted caregivers, the neurobiological impacts of trauma, practice and policy responses to intimate partner violence, and knowledge mobilization.
